Madagascar ,fourth biggest island in the world, host an unique and rich maritime culture.

Threaten by ecological and economic hazards, the core of this heritage, the lakambezo, (outrigger canoe) is facing extinction.

Through documentaries and interviews, Tsijonriake will meet with the keepers of those traditions and allow them  to broaden their audience.

We also provide training camps in modern construction techniques to diminish the ecological impact of boatbuilding to the unique bioviversity of Madagascar.
